Four persons of a gang inspired by the film "Dhoom", who used to rob people in south Mumbai and drive through chaotic traffic to go beyond city limits within 20 minutes, were convicted by a sessions court here on Thursday.
The court convicted Shahid Asadi (25), Salim Baig (47), Ghulam Rasul alias Pappu (40) under section 392 (robbery) and 120 B (conspiracy) sentencing them to five years imprisonment while Haroon Rashid (28) was sentenced to a seven-year term in jail for 120 B and 394 (voluntarily causing hurt during robbery) of the Indian Penal Code.

CBS has agreed to acquire CNET Networks in a deal valued at $1.8 billion, the companies said Thursday.
The purchase price comes to $11.50 per share, representing a 44 percent premium over Wednesday's closing price of $7.95.
The acquisition will make CBS one of the 10 most popular Internet companies in the United States, with a combined 54 million unique users per month, and about 200 million users worldwide, the companies said.
The deal is expected to close in the third quarter. CNET's board has unanimously approved the deal, the company said.

Angelina Jolie is indeed expecting twins, and it was Jack Black who let the news slip with a "Brady Bunch" crack. Long rumored to have two children by Brad Pitt on the way, Jolie confirmed the news during a side-by-side "Today" show interview with Black, her "Kung Fu Panda" co-star. The two are in Cannes, France, promoting the animated film.
The twins will be the 5th and 6th children for Jolie and Pitt. She didn't volunteer the information until Black dropped the hint, joking that the couple will "have as many as (the) 'Brady Bunch' when you have these."
"It's confirmed?" followed "Today" interviewer Natalie Morales.
"Yeah, yeah, we've confirmed that already," Jolie said. "Well, Jack's just confirmed it actually."

Gourmets in Chicago can order foie gras again after the city council on Wednesday repealed a two-year restaurant ban on a delicacy that critics say is produced at cruel expense to geese and ducks.
The aldermen voted 37-6 to drop the ban on restaurants serving foie gras, an ordinance that had passed with a single dissenting vote in April 2006.
The city had issued a few warnings to restaurants for flouting the ban and one defiant eatery was fined.

Thousands of Chinese soldiers rushed on Wednesday to repair a dam badly cracked by the country's massive earthquake, while rescuers arrived for the first time in the epicenter of the disaster.
China's top economic planning body said that the quake had damaged 391 mostly small dams. It left "extremely dangerous" cracks in the Zipingpu Dam upriver from the earthquake-hit city of Dujiangyan and some 2,000 soldiers were sent to repair the damage, the official Xinhua News Agency said.

The Apple iPhone still stands above the rest of the pack when it comes to touch-screen phones. The iPhone set the bar extremely high, making it near impossible for anyone to beat it, until now. HTC has introduced the Touch Diamond phone, which will be powered by Windows Mobile 6.1, to try and overthrow the iPhone.
In London, HTC revealed the Touch Diamond phone. The Touch Diamond featured a reworked TouchFlo 3D interface which gives users an easier way to get into their messages, contacts, etc.
The screen looks quite impressive from pictures released.
